審美眼 The Eye for Beautiful 

We are to see basicly Ranchuu from top view.
There are three regulations,TOUZAI(1year old fish),NISAIGYO(2years old fish),
OYAUO(Upper3years old fish).There is each value at each class.

TOUZAI is needed youth & activity & gross.
OYAUO is needed big scale & force.
NISAIGYO is needed scale & force as TOUZAI dosen't have.And needed
youth & gross as OYAUO dosen't have.

At first,you may remember each parts name of Ranchuu.
They are often used to explain Ranchu.They are very popular appelation.
Let's study Ranchuu with us.

You click <Top View>,it can be separated 3 big parts. 頭KASHIRA, 胴DOU, 尾O.
3 parts being balanced in total is the best.Let's go to study each part.

1)頭KASHIRA(Head)
They are 2type,one is 獅子頭SHISHIGASHIRA another 辰頭TATSUGASHIRA.
獅子頭SHISHIGASHIRA is shaped between square and sphere.It looks
like KOMAINU(JapaneseLion) Head.<KOMAINU gards the Japanese temple.>
辰頭TATSUGASHIRA is shaped rectangle.It loos like Doragon Head.
Both head types being same width till the front are better.
There are some other else type,but now you may learn only them.
Developed head wen is good,but total balance is very important.
For TOUZAI(1YearoldFish) neednot like a ParentFish wen.
FUNTAN coming up gives us impact when we see it.

2)身体つきKARADATSUKI(BodyShape)
They are 3 basic type.MARUTE(ShortBody),CHUUZUN(MediumBody),NAGATE(LongBody).
As living fish,there are middle type of them.
It is too difficult to say for good body shape.Please look them actually,
and study it.

3)尾O(TailFin)
For O,having shoulder & downing both sides are better.
As it can change by keeping,so our club member choices by their keeping
environment.It seemed when you keep many fish insmall space & much feeding
,tail fin open to width.And when you keep a few fish in large space &
active swiming,tail fin close to thin.
KAJIO(RudderFin) had better not to be able to see from up side.
Being able to see a little from up side is O.K.

Next you click <Bottom View>.You can see 舵尾KAJIO(RudderFin)-fig.
They being straight is better.But other cases are O.K.IPPON KAJI & bended KAJI are so.
If so,even fish can swim straight,it's no effect for judge of competition.
Lost both rudder fins is out of judge.

There are 3tail fin type;
YOTSUO(Seprated 4),SAKURAO(ShapedCherryBlossoms),MITUSO(Separated 3)
All of them are judged for the same value in competition.
If when TOZAIGYO isnot wide opened tail fin,growing up to OYAUO,it change
forceful tail.Because OYABONE is becoming thick with growing.
So you don't give up keeping,though tail fin is a little weak at TOZAI.

尾皿OZARA; TailDish(Bottom of TSUTSU[Waist]) being larger is better.Because large OZARA
may offer wide opened tail fin.Ofcourse even being small OZARA may offer good opened tail fin.

At last you click <side view>.
You are to see form of side view shape.Japanese long comb shape is better.
Ofcourse its smooth is better.It changes a little the best shape by body type.
SEKOSHI=SE(Back)+KOSHI(Waist).KOSHIORE(WaistCurve) means bending degree.
It's better that is not too shallow not too deep.

さしSASHI & つまみTSUMAMI are no good.It cannot recover with growing.
If you don't entree competition & don't mind it,so it's no problem.
SHINBUTO is O.K.but TSUKKOMI(Encroched till TSUTSU) is no good.
There are some other else for SEKOSHI,but now you study still here.
